Job Title: Nurse

Location: Bangalore
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / On-Call
Reports To: Hospice Coordinator / Nursing Supervisor


Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Home Nurse & Caregiver to provide end-of-life care for patients in the comfort of their homes. This role involves providing skilled nursing care, emotional support, and personal assistance to terminally ill patients and their families, ensuring dignity, comfort, and quality of life during their final days.


Key Responsibilities:

Nursing Duties (for RN/LVN/LPN):

  • Assess patient conditions and update care plans regularly.

  • Administer medications, IVs, and manage pain and symptom control.

  • Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions.

  • Coordinate care with doctors, hospice team, and family members.

  • Educate family members on proper patient care and emotional support.

Caregiving Duties (for Caregiver/Assistant):

  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.

  • Maintain a clean and comfortable environment.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.

  • Prepare simple meals and ensure nutritional needs are met.

  • Assist with mobility and repositioning to prevent bedsores.


Requirements:

For Nurse:

  • Valid nursing license (RN or LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in hospice or palliative care preferred.

  • Knowledge of pain and symptom management protocols.

  • Current CPR/BLS certification

Job Title: Caregiver

Location: Bangalore
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / On-Call
Reports To: Hospice Coordinator / Nursing Supervisor

For Caregiver:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.

  • Experience in end-of-life or elder care is an advantage.

  • Ability to handle physical and emotional demands of caregiving.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Dependable, respectful, and professional demeanor.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with care teams.

  • Culturally sensitive and respectful of family dynamics and beliefs.


Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in patients’ private homes.

  • May require evening, night, weekend, or holiday shifts.

  • Regular exposure to emotionally challenging situations.
